Inspiring and supporting students at a time when they need to develop effective working habits.

South African National Curriculum - CAPS

Middle School fosters the development of skills for communication, intercultural understanding and global engagement

The Middle School curriculum extends across Grades 4 to 7 and builds upon a child’s achievements and progress through Lower School. Our students are encouraged to take greater responsibility for their own learning during Middle School. As students transition from childhood through adolescence, middle school offers a caring, safe and supportive environment in which students can thrive on change, prepare for high school, and establish good habits of mind for lifelong learning.

About our Curriculum

In Middle School, we support students by developing effective working & studying habits

The Middle School curriculum is designed to build upon the knowledge, skills and attitudes developed in the Lower School and prepares students to meet the academic challenges. Our middle school curriculum focuses on helping students ‘learn how to learn’: developing effective work habits, self-confidence and conceptual understanding, and building background knowledge.
